Jerry is the man. He says he shoots wheelguns 'cause autos don't cycle fast enough. He's a good 'ol cajun boy thats been shooting with S&W for years. Always takes top honors at any USPSA nat'l. or Steel Challenge. I spoke with him years ago at a USPSA national championship. He let me play with his competition gun. He actually has S&W put a HEAVIER main spring on the hammer to make everything move faster. It makes for a heavy trigger but they compensate by making all the internals feel like they're on roller bearings.

Mr. Miculek is a fantastic shooter. He can reload a wheel gun faster then anyone I have ever seen. What's even more impressive is when he does the fire 6-reload-fire 6 blind folded. Now that impressive. My favorite though would have to be Bob Munden. If you know who he is then you know how fast that guy is on the draw. Most of Mr. Munden's stuff is with a single action and if you've seen a single action shooter fan the hammer and and fire 5 or 6 rounds in one swipe you'd know how impressive that is as well.

We'll see if this works. Here's Munden on a fast draw. Don't blink you'll miss it.

I was never that fast with a pistol. Shotguns were my thing. I used to do demos for Benelli years ago. We did a bowling pin shoot with 5 pins at 10 meters starting with the gun shouldered but resting muzzle down on a sawhorse. My best time was 1.16 seconds to drop all 5 pins. (including the reaction time to the timer starting which was .25 seconds to the first shot)

My M-1 super 90 held 8 rounds and I could get all 8 off before the first empty hull hit the ground. (sorry for the gratuitous bragging)
