Odd food combinations

I just downed a peanut butter and banana sandwich on toasted whole wheat bread. I used the reduced fat Peter Pan stuff and didn't butter and fry the bastard like Elvis used to do though.

A buddy once sold me on Fritos and cottage cheese.

Ritz crackers with creme cheese are a good late night snack too.

Anyone else with odd food combo fetishes?

Post-Christmas & Thanksgiving Special:

2 thick slices of home-made bread. Spread mayo liberally on both. Pieces of turkey, lots of it, ketchup, salt and pepper.

Dayum, making me hungry. I wanna go buy a turkey

Re: Odd food combinations

Post Thanksgiving sandwich: Turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce on a hard roll. YUM!

PB and banana sandwich isn't odd. I'll snack on a banana with PB on it.
PB and honey sandwiches are good, too, but ya gotta eat them right away or the honey gets kinda crunchy.

Add peanut butter and cheese. It's not a "fav" combo, but had enough of that as a kid.

white sugar, on toasted, buttered english muffin. That's really good.

Be fast or be last.

Re: Odd food combinations

You guys that are complaining about the combinations are just a big 'ol bunch of weenies! Where's your sense of adventure...it''s not like anyone's eating a pickle, marshmallows & peanut butter sandwich?

And, BTW, Chain, I love Fritos and cottage cheese...I always get weird looks if I mention that combination to my friends. Darn...now I have a hankering for 'em and don't have any in the house. It's all your fault!!!!

Re: Odd food combinations

So, Chain. You'll have to come to Grattan to share Fritos and cottage cheese with HG.
