Working on Saturdays

My weekend CSR called in sick, couldn't get anyone else, so here I am running the place until 4:00 today. Sometimes I think some of my staff are way too unhealthy.

Things I wanted to do today but can't now that I'm at work:

-oil change on the bike (might still have time)

-finish reading a novel I started a few weeks ago

-browse the toy store

-sit on a lawnchair outside and have a beer (It's a whopping 10 degrees celcius in Calgary today, most of the snow has melted)

-tidy up my garage, basement

And then there's this asshole...

Re: Working on Saturdays

By the look of these posts, I'd hazard a guess you could still get everything done that you'd like to even though you're at work.

Re: Working on Saturdays

you must be busy today?

I can assume that you're either:

A: at the office and there aren't any bad guys to chase

>or<

B: at home and there isn't any pussy to chase.

And then there's this asshole...

Re: Working on Saturdays

I worked a half shift today. We got it pretty good in that we can take hours (not just single days) of vacation time.

Re: Working on Saturdays

Hey, since we're the only ones here enjoying your fine thread, what's up with the avatar? Was that shot taken from a parking garage? Which guy is you? Which bike?

Curious. My nature I guess.

Went to Osoyoos, BC (okanagan wine country, tropical weather, lakes) in August for Sportbike West (rally). That is taken from the patio of our motel room.

Starring: (from left to right)

My 2000 VFR (sold to my buddy)

My best friend Tom

My 1000RR

My friend Trip (bought the VFR)

Tom's 600RR

My brother Graham

Graham's SP1

<EDIT> I am behind the camera

Best weekend of my life. Going again this year. Hey since you're bored check out the website www.sportbikewest.com

Re: Working on Saturdays

Saturday's are golden days. Too bad I'm usually useless by the time it comes around. Went to the range this AM, came home to eat, went to a friend's little brother's basketball game. Been vegging on the couch since. It's about 42 outside, might go fire up the bike and get my headlights ready for Monday's wrenching session

I think she's going back to street duty for now I gotta ride more than a few track days a year. Until I can get a street bike she'll have to do double duty. Monday's wrenching session is to put the street upper on with the headlights, gonna pop the tail light back in, install frame sliders and also try to find a suitable spot for my lap timer. She also needs a thorough cleaning since I never had a chance to do it in the fall.
