Re: Concealed carriers

I like the Glock 22 better. It seems to me to give just a little more control over the somewhat nasty shooting .40 cal round.
Shoot them both and see what works for YOU.

That's difficult in this area since there are no ranges. I've fired a Glock twice and found it uncomfortable in my hand.

That would be at the top of my list but it's quite a bit more than I want to spend.

Re: Concealed carriers

Glock is going to be the smaller than the other semi autos, and the price is pretty good. But I have to have a hammer and the ability to chamber it and decock it. I almost traded my 239 for a Glock, but I decided against it, and it's not that much larger than the mini glocks

Re: Concealed carriers

I love my HK, but for carrying I prefer my Sig P233 .380 It's small enough to fit in my pocket without anyone knowing yet still enough to stop anyone (as long as you know how to effectively use it). Now, for the ultimate concealed non-wuss weapon you need to get a ruger super redhawk .480. Sure, you'll need suspenders to keep your pants up but you'll never have to worry about those wild elephants stampeding over your ass again!

Re: Concealed carriers

You said Sub Compact, so the G22 is out by a longshot... Id try the G27 or the XD Sub 40....

Re: Concealed carriers

I'd say Sig P239 or an Springfield XD40 or even a Springfield Micro Compact would be good as well. If it were my choice I think I'd go with a nice Commander sized 1911 .
