Wtf? A little PC help please???

I have no clue what's going on with the computer, but I keep getting my homepage reset to the one shown in the screen cap below. I'm running up to date Norton and have done two full Ad-Aware scans, deleting the spyware it detected. I've got Google's toolbar w/pop-up blocker running and I'm still getting ads.

Wtf?

Disable any that look suspicious and see if it stops. Then enable them one at a time...

Can't. This is my roomie's computer and I'm already nervous enough that this crap started when I was at the keys.

Re: Wtf? A little PC help please???

That's not working for me. I'm guessing there is some sort of malicious code someplace, maybe something buried in the Registry redirecting my browser to that first screen cap I attached in this thread.

Ack!

Re: Wtf? A little PC help please???

This is interesting, a new item in the sys tray. Sure doesn't seem to be legit. I've already done a couple full scans with Ad-Aware.

Re: Wtf? A little PC help please???

Its spyware...and adaware wont catch them all. Try several others like spybot and such. And stop looking at porn with IE!
