Sick AHL fight last night

Well last night I went to yet another Manchester Monarchs game, but this time in a party suite......what a great experience and a great game. IN the third period with less than a minute to go there was a fight (our Mack truck on ice skates was on the bench for this one) well the guy on the other team got beat up pretty bad and was pissed so what does he do, well like an idiot he skates past our bench talking smack RIGHT ALONG THE BOARDS. Then all of a sudden a fist comes out of bench and pops the guy right in the face! It rang his bell pretty good too, funniest damn thing I ever saw. Now our fighter is suspended for 2 games but will be back just in time for Saturdays game......which I have tix for WHOOO-HOO! 97 penalty minutes in the 3rd period alone last night.

Our goalie was bouncing a helmet from side to side with his stick, kinda like they do with a puck when they skate....the other goalie jumped in on the fight so there wasnt enough players for a game

awesome. LB on WAAF (not sure if you get that station up there) says there's a some hockey league in Canada where they literally fight more than actually play. It'd be interesting to watch one of those games.

WHL

any Red Deer Rebels / Calgary Hitmen game

NLL National Lacrosse League is a bloodbath. And a Lacrosse fight is more savage than a Hockey fight. They don't have to hold the guy with one hand to steady themselves.

And then there's this asshole...

Of course LB would know that since he wasn't exactly Mr. Polite when he was a Bruin.

haha yeah. someone had to do the dirty work. I wish I still listened to the Morning Show but I don't get up early enough. Even if I did I wouldn't just flip the radio on.

We had a waitress come in and take our order this time. Yea I think you would definately have a real good time at a monarchs game, but thats about all your missing out on since you left.

Might be joining a house hockey league in the fall that'd be the only other thing you might have missed.

Re: Sick AHL fight last night

Well I played with the guys here at work when I first moved here. Wasn't very fun. No slapshots, no checking, no lifting the puck. That was the worst and most boring hockey I have ever played. I just don't understand that when everyone was wearing full gear . Makes no sense. Not to mention theywere a bunch of old guys who bitched cause I was a puck hog and scored all the goals. Is it my fault that by the time my team would catch up to me I had already scored a goal.
