Wow, Robert Blake Acquitted? Justice?

No way, I can't believe it. I was hoping by some sort of miracle he'd be acquitted, and it happened! To tell you the truth, I'm glad. That women was as evil as evil gets. The jurors stated circumstantial (sp?) evidence. They even acquitted him of the conspiracy to commit murder.

I believe this jury did not WANT to convict him. He is a free man.

Sorry, don't have any links, I'm late for a meeting. Just thought I'd see what everyone thought. Justice? Maybe

Blake being found innocent is easier to believe then O.J. being found innocent.

It pays to be famous BEFORE the trial. This one sickens me.

Re: Wow, Robert Blake Acquitted? Justice?

This was the prosecutions dropped ball from day one. They were arguing the wrong crime. They had no witnesses, no connection to the murder weapon and Blake, no evidence of Blake even firing a gun near the time... nothing. What they should've done is argue that he hired someone, a third person who hasn't been found. There was enough evidence to convict him of conspiring to commit murder, but not enough to say he actually pulled the trigger. The prosecution f'ed this one hard core! Like it or not, the legal system works folks.

I think you were okay until this last statement.
You might have pointed out that the system worked THIS time...
Then again, Blake isn't entirely innocent, is he? Whether he pulled the trigger or not, he should pay for SOMETHING.
