Guy claims that he has over $25,000 invested in it. I know some of the stuff he has on it is expensive, but he's trying to tell people that he has another $15K dropped in on top of the price of the bike. He I could be wrong, but I don't think that the parts that he lists add up to $15 K. Check it out and let me know if I'm wrong guys.

Re: Anybody want to call BS on this?

has an ohlins shock it would appear from the pics, funny he only called it a 'LE' shock... However, there is no way it has $25k in it... No way.

Wheels = $2000 at best
shock = $900
fork job = $400
POS pipe = $unknown

even with $1000 in Ti bolts, it doesn't add up.

Re: Anybody want to call BS on this?

Marvick race rims
Scotts stearing dampner
Linderman front end and Linderman rear shocks
Power Commander on board computer tuning
Over $1000 in titanium bolts
Erion Cams
Header with Supertrap
Custom Billet foot pegs
K&N filter
Upgraded rear brake
All steel braided lines
Brand new tires with zero mile

Maybe he had everything installed by a shop and got raped bigtime in labor fees.

More likely he counted the 2 front and 75 rear tires that he burnt up cruising the Steak & Shake...

Re: Anybody want to call BS on this?

Wow, I didn't even hit $25k, and I had a lot more than that.

Re: Anybody want to call BS on this?

Why upgrade the rear brake and not the front? Why buy a supertrap exhaust?

Erion cams I know are like 7-9 hundred depending on why ones you get. And with some you have to buy new valves I think. But i guess he would have listed that wouldnt he?

Re: Anybody want to call BS on this?

Ok less break this down:

Cams $700
Fork rework $500
Shock $1000
Ti $1000
Exhaust $1000
Wheels $2500
PCIII $300
Damper $500

That's a long way off $15k above the price of the bike, even with labor.
