Re: MotoGP on PS2

anyone know if they're very different?

my little brother has a PS2 that I can muscle in on, and I can now pick up MotoGP1 for next to nothing, MGP2 for a good bit more, and MGP3 for a bit more again.

should i be a cheapskate and get MGP1, be a moderate spendthrift and go for MGP2, or be a big spender and get the latest version?

thx

Re: MotoGP on PS2

mu....I have MG3 for the PS2 and while it is a good game, after playing MG1 for XBOX, I must say....I haven't played the PS2 version since...the XBOX version is THAT good....online capability, much more realisitic and the graphics are way better also...the PS2 version is pretty cool, though...the challenges are very challenging, the 211V is a kick azz bike, and their are quite a few unlockable bikes also...such as Wayne Rainey's NSR(I think), the Kawasaki Ninja RR GP bike, and the Namco GP bike...(think 211V, although not the same bike...handles the same and sounds the same)...all in all, give the game a try....you might like it....just don't play the XBOX version first!

Re: MotoGP on PS2

I'd recommend MGP3, if for no other reason than you get to ride the RC211V!

yep...I've heard....I've only played the demo version of MG1 on XBOX....I've heard that MG2 blows MG1 out of the water...after sampling Ghost Recon and the demo MG1 on XBOX Live, I am getting one...I am convinced the XBOX is the more capable machine...

Re: MotoGP on PS2

I'd definitely go for the newest version of the game on either platform. I have MGP3 for PS2 and my buddy has MGP2 for X-Box. It's kind of a toss-up. I like being able to create a bike in the X-Box version, but you get taken out by other riders a lot.

Is a paradigm worth 20 cents?

Re: MotoGP on PS2

Never played it on the X-Box, so I cant' say anything about that. I have all 3 versions for PS2, and IMO MGP 3 is the best so far.
