Sirius Question - indoor antenna?

Anyone have any luck using the standard Sirius antenna indoors?

If not, what are you using instead?

mine did not work worth sh*t so i moved it outside and ran the cable through the hole that my cable tv goes through and now i get three bars and no cut out. I read in the manual that the ant is indoor/outdoor.
