Passed my license test

finally got my class A. I can now drive almost anything on the road (couple exceptions such as hazmat and tanker). Now I can go find a job and certain people whose name I won't mention ::cough sheep cough:: can get off my back.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

yeah it did but a lot of it was waiting for test and retest dates. Besides I've been doing a lot of riding in the meantime. Almost 4000miles this year so far. Good thing those Pilot Powers hold up so well or I'd have to shell out more money for some new ones but as it is they have tons of rubber left.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

If I was ever gonna buy a truck I'd buy a peterbilt. Back in high school me and a friend said we were gonna get our licenses and buy a Peterbilt and drive all over the country.

thanks everyone.

Nice choice! I've owned a Freightrasher conventional, a 9670 IH and 2 Pete 362s. The Crateliner was the biggest POS I ever owned and the day it drove away was one of the best days in my life. The 9670 was OK and always ran, but the Petes were as good as it gets.

Re: Passed my license test

I can't fathom how difficult it must be to drive one of those sonsabitches. Bobtail is one thing, but how about a trailer in tow? Or worse yet, one of those tandem trailer deathtraps I see weaving all over the highway?

Edit: congrats, btw!!

Re: Passed my license test

Very good. Now to get down to business buy one of them Big CB radios so you can talk over everyone, Peterbilts T-shirt, Cowboy hat, Boots & Big belt buckle. Get the $7.99 special and the Fling J. Stay away from them lot lizards they will make you itch.

Don't drive a hearse in the carpool lane.

Re: Passed my license test

Now all you need is a pulley system so you can pump iron with your right bicep while you drive and join the professional arm-wrestling circuit. But that'd be a bit over the top wouldn't it?

And then there's this asshole...
