Don't know him, but this guy pulled out a couple of minutes ahead of me...tagged the armco, and ripped the wheel and spindle completely off the trailer...

I felt a bit sorry for him because he was having a first date with a girl on the boat....but it kind of ended badly...

Ouch...I guess there won't be a second date

Working int the boating industry I'm always amazed to see how much dumb ass there is out there driving boats. And most of them paid BIG money for their toys thinking that they will have the time of their life, and end up in a fight with the girlfriend trying to dock the thing.

The 2 best days in a boat owners life? The day he bought it and the day he sells it.

While I am a dumbass boat owner...I most certainly did not pay big bucks for my POS...

But you are right...there are some real comedy shows to be seen on the water...it's hard not to become a ramp ghoul...

BTW, I'll be test riding a 36 footer this afternoon, with twin Volvo 8.1 GXI in it. That POC will do 53 Mph. I'll bring a digi cam and post some pics of it later. I'll try to be carefull trailering it down though....

That depends. If you get up at 5AM to get some glass water for some sweet wakeboarding, nothing is more pissing off than watching some window licker that can't launch his $50k bass boat. Also, someone in some POS that hasn't been on the water in 3 years, and they didn't make sure it ran before launching...so now they sit on the ramp making futile efforts to get their **** running.

My roomate in college had a boat and we had a system, he'd run into the boat, I'd come flying down the 2 boat ramp, stuff it between 2 scoggins trying to figure out how to undo the hook (you're not deep enough moron) and launch before anyone had a chance to yell at us.
