Does anyone here work for, or have direct working relations with Siemens? I have some questions about working with them I'd like to PM. Thx

Sprechen sie Deutsch?

Siemens is a big company, so I have no idea where or which group you'll be working with.

I have, but really have nothing good for you, you probably don't already know.

Anytime you're working with Euros you need to make sure you don't dress casually....probably the most important thing.

Besides, you might be a competitor.

Pete's real job is probably just a daily trip to the "bank" to deposit his "special men"

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

Actually it's their communications group based out of Boca Raton FL. that does their portal (presence engine) technology for VOIP.

Look, maybe it would just be easier if you migrate to DWDM/transport or BAS/automation type junk...cause I know people in both and can answer your questions a bit better.

Alright...how about Pfizer? Anyone in good with the folks at Pfizer? Going once...going twice....

My wife (marlaeagle) is interviewing with them tomorrow and I wanted to get the down low - the scoop - the skinny - the dirt - the...well you get the picture.

Re: Anyone here work for Siemens? (Yes...that's Siemens)

I interviewed with them once and had to try to sell them a window. That was the interview--"Sell me a window." I didn't get the job.

Re: Anyone here work for Siemens? (Yes...that's Siemens)

LONG ago I had an interview at Microsoft and I had to give verbal instructions on how to make a banana split.

Re: Anyone here work for Siemens? (Yes...that's Siemens)

You should have held your notepad in front of your chest and told them it could be a window.

Re: Anyone here work for Siemens? (Yes...that's Siemens)

It was a phone interview, so I couldn't even pretend to hold a window. The conversation went something like this:
ME: Hi. I'm selling windows. Would you like to see what we have?
INTERVIEWER: No.
