Root beer in a keg

Anyone know where I can get ahold of a couple? I know they exist 'cuz I've seen them, but having trouble locating some.

Have tried beverage distributors to no avail.

Re: Root beer in a keg

My church is throwing an Octoberfest party, so I recommended having a keg of root beer. Now I'm having trouble locating one

Doesn't matter sheep...would prefer metal, but wood would be fine too.

Re: Root beer in a keg

I know it can be found as at multiple family get togethers of mine in MN, there has been one present. It was dang good rootbeer too.

Edit: Believe it was the 1919 rootbeer mentioned in one of Speeds links

It's $25 here for what looks to be the same stuff.

I found pretty much the same links you guys did... Was hoping to find some A&W or something a little more popular than the above and/or cheaper.

Re: Root beer in a keg

1. Go to a store and rent an empty keg and tap.
2. Buy a bunch of cheapass root beer.
3. Fill it up. Place in a bucket of ice, serve to children.
4. Enjoy the condemnation of parents who will blame their kid's behavior problems in college on this specific picnic event.
5. Go home, rent a keg of really good beer
6. Drink it all yourself.
7. Reflect on the vagaries of life.
