Where to get heat shrink in length?

Im looking for some 1" black heatshrink and need 2 6' lenths of it. Anyone know where I could get some? Id love a local supplier so that I could get it tomorrow, but Id take online if anyone knows. It has to be one piece as it is covering the chain on my climbing treestand for hunting.
Thanks,
Chris

Have you already tried a local industrial electrical supply house?

If you have a Grainger or Graybar in town they might have it.

Re: Where to get heat shrink in length?

did you consider just using some cheap clear vinyl tubing that you can buy at almost any hardware store?

Did you check Home Depot? They are starting to carry many of the same things Graybar does, at least they are here, and they don't have the Graybar markup either.

Re: Where to get heat shrink in length?

Heat shrink is what came on it OEM. It has to be thin and conform to the chain of the stand so that it can retract into the stand for smaller trees.

Here is a Pic.. The black part going around the tree is acctually a chain with heat shrink....

Re: Where to get heat shrink in length?

I buy 36" pieces at work...Not sur if they come longer, but it would probaly be easy to overlap it an inch or so at the seams. Let me know if you want and I'll price it for ya.
