It'll work, if you really like the sti you just won't be happy with the acura sure it is close to the same HP but not the "same" HP if you know what I mean

Re: Took a STi for a test drive, wow

I've ridden in a done up WRX which was close to putting out the same amount of power as the STi. Oh man that thing was nice. fast as hell and smooth as hell. and its AWD so it should be "ok" in the snow once that comes.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

I've got an old 95 eclipse gsx that pushes near 450HP on race gas. AWD, pretty fun, I dont drive it much anymore as I have the CBR now. I went and got groceries in it tho

You guys could always get an older eclipse GSX, 2-6K depending on the year for the car, 2K in mods and you'll have a 12 sec AWD toy

Mine is capable of high 10's low 11's(on race gas).

I would love to see that car, one of my favourites. we always got the crappy versions of the eclipse here. Such a good looking car IMO

Re: Took a STi for a test drive, wow

The car salesman keeps calling and is pissing me off, pushy as hell. I want to buy a used STi, preferable a '05. I dont like the looks of the '06.

Re: Took a STi for a test drive, wow

Very nice...I have been thinmking of putting a turbo on the prelude this coming spring but I am affraid that it is going to be just too much work...I may have to start with a "better" platform?

Car looks great and the 929 ain't bad either

I am just glad that I don't know anyone running a 400-600 HP import as I am sure once I got to go for a ride I would be sold on the idea or making one.

Tell him that if he does not back off a bit you will go somewere else. Plain and simple, you don't want to be bugged so back off or he will loose the sale.
