Snow tires

What's a good snow tire nowadays? Been quite a few years since I've had to buy any and I don't remember what I had back then.

Re: Snow tires

I have 4 bridgestone(I think) winterforces on my Prelude, they work awsome. I could probabbly get away with just 2 but they were pretty cheap so I figured why not.

Michelin makes a very good snow tire in the arctic alpine and goodyears snow and ice tire is used by a lot of the police forces(and my girlfriend )

You also can't go wrong with the Blizzak

Canada post has came and gone, now they are coming again ...

Re: Snow tires

Dunlop Graspic HS1's - Inexpensive, wear well, more composed/sane then my Blizzaks when its *not* snowing, and great water dispersion too in case you like to leave em on into late spring. Grip well enough you'll wonder when you got AWD.

I got 4, on steels, m&b, from tirerack to my door for like 380$ a few years ago...not sure what they are now. I know the same combo with blizz's was about 500$. I have had blizzaks as well, they're a good tire - I just think they're a little proud of them with their pricing.

why put off today what you can wake up late and forget to do tomorrow.

for me they're Pirelli P400s. no idea what these real snow tires are.

rear wheel drive on all season touring tires

Check your local junkyards or tire shops. You can usually find OEM steels for ~$20 each.

wtf Yeah they recommend them...then just dont have any in stock?

Thats weird mang, sorry.
Though I bet if you check your local trader mag or something you will find some wheels that someone used for a season and wants 200$ for now
If you were closer, I would be that person
