New material. Maybe now they can make a windscreen that doesn't scratch after one cleaning.

Not if you could make it thin. The aluminum is really a ceramic if you read the article. For a parallel check the opp racing Ti weave, it is lighter than stock.

ALON is quite a bit heavier than aluminum....

3.688 g/cc compared to ~2.7 g/cc

ABS is somewhere around 1....

How about the thickness though. Would it need the same thickness as ABS? If so then it would be heavier but blingy.
