The Greggs have a charity foundation and reportedly are planning on donating a large chunk there...possibly to the areas in Western NH to help with flood damages.

Re: powerball

they had him on the news last night and asked what he's gonna do with the money. he said whatever his wife tells him to do with it.

There was also a lady near me that won over $600,000

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

Ah, so it has already happened. He initially stated that his wife would be spending it on their home renovation, and there were already murmurs from "the others" about his use of the winnings.

Not really, he said "a chunk of the winnings" not all. The two comments were made in the same interview.

I agree, however, that people are going to make a big deal out of it if they were to spend a large amount of it on themselves.
I know I wouldn't be giving any away if I had won the $$$.

Re: powerball

The lefties will cry about how it will only be adding to his sizeable wealth, but at least he'll know how to spend the $$$$ responsibly.

As long as the top 10% of earners pay for over half the lottery, I'm all for it.
