Re: VPN question

:shudder: If you really have to use it, it's just another MS wizard.

Re: VPN question

Cisco Systems VPN Client v4.7 is the best solution I know of.

why put off today what you can wake up late and forget to do tomorrow.

Re: VPN question

I don't support vpns directly, but out of all the one's I hear (and i've heard them all) the easiest and most secure (two words that don't go together) is that cisco systems vpn. I don't dive into what version they are running.

Re: VPN question

Fully aware of that. This scenario requires the MS VPN client.

Re: VPN question

Sorry I can't help you more on the automation, ND. I don't know that there is any extra over the wizard.

Cisco is alright, but I suggest Check Point on a Nokia to any company with the money to really get serious.

Re: VPN question

It's not looking very promising. Looking at the registry there are hooks pointing to hooks pointing to hooks.... It's a flippin' rat's nest.

I think that goes with the network sharing wizard or something like that.

Re: VPN question

Since your asking about MS VPN, Im assuming Win 2000 or Win 2003 servers, right?
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000...de.htm?id=1634

or

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro...5832d5761.mspx

I had used it a while back in Windows 2003 Server to set up a VPN for someone.
