Re: smart car Smoking an M3

I almost forgot... Last weekend I saw a Smart towing a load of plywood. He had a little trailer with like 10 inch tires and a load of 4'X8' half inch plywood probably stacked 2 feet high. Holy crap I tried to get a pic with my phone but I was too slow. So funny... I laughed for a good 10 minutes straight. What a dipshit.

And then there's this asshole...

Well I was thinking the part about towing 2000+- pounds with his Smart was a little dipshitish.

Really though, it was a funny sight. The load was bigger than the car. FBT you would have laughed too.

Re: smart car Smoking an M3

You might get better results towing the Smart with the 954.

Well 400 pounds of motorcycle doesn't seem quite as ridiculous as 1500 pounds of wood.

And then there's this asshole...

Make up your mind. Is it 2000lbs or 1500lbs of wood?

Well add the weight of the trailer and I'd put it somewhere between 1500 and 2000.:roll eyes: And I said 2000+/-

was?...why not am? I would...provided you keep the tongue weight reasonable you should be fine. Not being sarcastic, but that is a hitch for that car right?...not just some shelf bracket or something?

I moved a couple 1000#+ loads of fencing with a 4x8 trailer and my Civic this summer - good times...

why put off today what you can wake up late and forget to do tomorrow.

Re: smart car Smoking an M3

Car and trailer fits in a regular parking spot.

Wonder how it handles crashing, not much cushing there.

It's amazing how stupid some people can be.
