V8 Snowblower

screw those little honda or briggs and straton engines when you can have the power of a 454 big block to clean off your driveway.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

Re: V8 Snowblower

Screw snowblowers that leave a little film of slippery stuff when you can have a plow attachment on a four wheeler and get your 100ft. long driveway cleaned down to the concrete as well as the sidewalks for the whole neighborhood in ~15 minutes.

Waste of money IMO. The landscape company I used to plow for all had Chevy pickups with 454's in them. I could do four driveways in the time it would take you to do one with that thing. Not to mention I' be in the warm cab with a stereo and coffee.

I think you totally miss the point of it. It has nothing to do with how fast it would plow or how good a job it would do. We all know any truck with a plow is gonna do it faster.

(it has a total wet weight of 912lbs)...Adding to the well-balanced feel of the unit, just 15 pounds of down force on the handlebars will lift the auger blade off the ground in order to climb stairs/walkways for ease of snow removal.
Screw that 912 lbs. up icy stairs.

With 92 dicibels at 5am you will not be anyones favorite blingster. 92 decibels @~2 feet from you ears, would not be music to me.

Re: V8 Snowblower

The point is that it's pointless. It's a novelty like a motorcycle with a Rolls Royce gas turbine, or a bar stool built for racing. It's for rich eccentric(sp?) guys to show off to his buddies and piss off his neighbors.
How can you not appreciate something with a big block and zoomies?

Re: V8 Snowblower

the point is a regular snowblower just isn't "enough" for some people. Some of us just want more power no matter how useless that extra bit of oompf is.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.
