Your biggest accomplishments for 2005 and goals for 2006.

What were some of your biggest accomplishments this year and what do you hope to accomplish in the upcoming year?

Re: Your biggest accomplishments this year

Hmmmm....is it an accomplishment to manage to do nothing right for an entire year? If its not that I'd say absolutely nothing

Be thankful you 'completed' and were able to come home to a wonderful family (and thanks for the freedoms you defend)

Re: Your biggest accomplishments this year

Made more money than ever, saved a bunch in RRSPs, paid off a bunch of debt, bought a home, maintained my fitness, posted 6000 times, dropped my first motor, smashed a toilet, travelled a bit, read a few books... blah blah blah

And then there's this asshole...

Got married
Lost a job and got another
Survived my second year of racing without a crash

Re: Your biggest accomplishments this year

This year:
Got to where I am dragging knee at the track without a worry.
Kept x-wife from putting me in the poor house.

Next year:
Get new bike
Get racing license
Aid the effort to get GW impeached.

Re: Your biggest accomplishments this year

Past:
-Stop renting: check
-Pay off piles of debt: check
-Get new job that I care about this time: check
-Finally get new tv: check (barely)
-Get new cage: check
-Do something with yzf suspension: check (replaced with crf)

Future:
-Enter into 07 with my only debts being a car and a new house (don't have the house yet).
-Maintain a better diet/leave '2nd shift' & associated lifestyle.

why put off today what you can wake up late and forget to do tomorrow.

Re: Your biggest accomplishments this year

- Rewriting the manner in which my compay's system gets credit scores
- This new maintenance tool that I just built took a 6 week process that involved 5-7 people and made it a 5 min process that involves a max of 2 people.
- Got accepted into and started graduate school.
- Started cycling
- Cleaned 225, Benched 325, Squated 375
- I can still run 4 miles in < 40 mins. ( I know that it's not fast but...)
- Did more racing....and no crashing.

Goals for next year...

In the same air of https://www.fireblades.org/forums/off...ents-year.html

what are your goals for 2006?

Me:

- Kick ass in Graduate school
- Do my first marathon
- Do my first triathalon
- Stay employed, and set myself up for a job change when I finish school in May 2007
- Do more racing on the GSXR and actually be semi-competitve
- Do more racing on the GSXR w/o crashing.
- Turn a low 1:13 at Nelson on stock suspension.
- Love a little harder
- Eliminate a good chunk of debt
- Save a good chuck of change.

You know. Nothing too elaborate.

Paid off all plastic debt.

Bought 2 of the three cages I wanted.
