From Tucson...with love(TOW Missile Video)

Since SPY is posting up some vids I figured I'd give it a shot and post up what I make at work and send to the boys and gals in The Sandbox.

Hope this works. It's a HUGE file by the way. Right click- save as.

Re: From Tucson...with love(TOW Missile Video)

that makes me wanna blow **** up. I've always liked fire and explosives (although I've never really blown anything up). A career in imploding buildings has always fascinated me. Actually destroying any building (or anything else for that matter) sounds like fun.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

There was a time when having a tank was safe...... I don't even see the meaning of having one of those today. Anybody out there is equipped to blow them off.

I've never been in combat, but I think when the small arms bullets are flying everywhere, it still seems like a good place to be.

Re: From Tucson...with love(TOW Missile Video)

M2A2 ODS BFV, 25MM CHAIN GUN W/ARMOR PEIRCING, DEPLETED URANIUM (HELL YEAH) OR HIGH EXPLOSIVE ROUNDS, 240 CHARLIE, TOW (TUBULAR OPTICLE WIREGUIDED MISSILE) SPEED CAPABILITIES OF UPWARDS 100MPH BUT GOVERNED DOWN TO A MEASLY 35MPH(SAFETY) MADE OUT OF ALUMINUM BUT CAN BE EQUIPED WITH DEFLECTIVE ARMOR, CAN SWIM IN WATER WITH AN EXPERIENCED OPERATOR(ME) AND EQUIPMENT BUT MOST OF THE TIME IT SINKS BECAUSE OF CRAPPY SEALS, DIRT AND ALL.

Excuse the caps, I get exited sometimes.

To comment on taking out an Abrams with a .50 round. not in your wildest dreams.

Re: From Tucson...with love(TOW Missile Video)

On some of those shots it appears as though the missile explodes over the
tank and the explosion rips the tank apart. How does that work? Does it ignite the ordinance in the tank or is it just the explosive charge in the missile?

The over the tank ones are the TOW 2B. They came up with those when the bad guys decided to start hiding behind dirt berms. That is exactly what they aare designed to do.
