Re: Daytona 500

Lots of lead changes (the most leaders in a 500 ever), but otherwise it was pretty weak, and the caution on the last lap killed a potentially good ending.

Stewart needs to be smacked...and more constructively, appropriately penalized/suspended. What if Kenseth - or someone else - had been seriously hurt in that incident? Matt's car could have easily hit the wall nose-first, or one of those "near misses" as he slid across the banking could have been a head-on collision.

as the son-in-law of dale earnharts (sp) first crew chief who has worked for roger penske, cale yarborough, DW, DE, and many others i will say that all teams have ten ways to cheat and they do cheat... when they get caught they keep cheating 9 other ways and take the penalty. as is most racing its about getting the upper edge. whether u like it or not, it happens

I don't think it was the same at all. Banging (or "rubbin'", as they like to say) is part of door-to-door racing, esp. on a plate track, but Stewart forcing Kenseth ino the grass was one of the most reckless things I've seen in a long time.

Tony will get his. It's hard to win a title when the other drivers want to see you in the wall.

Re: Daytona 500

oh god let them rub all they want, (insert pic gay man rubbing another) that's just part of this type of racing. It would be like Hockey with no checking. Now a blatant take out is wrong, but tohelp him mess up, not a biggy because paybacks are a bitch and you'll get yours.
