thieves

so the off chance i leave my van unlocked last nite a bitch came and stole my rockford deck. didnt take the check book though. unless they took only a few checks, little worried about that but i figure they would have taken the whole thing. damage was minimal, which i am glad about. I hate it here!

Re: thieves

Damn, I thought where you were now there wouldn't be much chance of that happening ever. Put up a camera outside, put a new deck in the van and then leave it open again. Catch the ****er on camera, and then find them and break his ****ing legs.

BTW the swear filter got voted out of existance....

Re: thieves

Sorry to hear a thief got anything but never leave a checkbook in your vehicle. The grief that could occur would be massive

That's what I was thinking. The first thing I would look would be the numbers on the checks themselves. See if the numbers jive with the what was written down in the check registry and then see if there are any out of sequence check numbers.

Re: thieves

I'm gonna assume since yo don't know if they took any checks that means you don't write down your transactions in the registry book. So like was said close the account. Notify the bank that some checks might have been stolen also and have them stop payment on any after the day it was stolen.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

I went online and looked at the checks that have gone through. the top check in the book was 1006 and the last check that went through was 1005.
