So milage doesnt effect the value of a WRX

So I went to check out a WRX I found, been searching for roughly 8 months now to find a deal on one. I get there and the guy says "its in the garage being cleaned, we sold it yesterday"

So now I'm discouraged and decided to just go out and check out all the ones in the area, seems like they were all the same price range regardless of mileage. Only 4 more months to find another one before inspection time.

What are you looking for?

I don't know about the west coast, but sales are slow out here in the east. My dad's a Subaru dealer. www.flemington.com

Have you looked at new, or a lease? The prices might be better than you think.

One thing I do know, is that he doesn't see many used ones come in as trades. My wife and I are still considering trading in our '04 WRX Wagon for a Nissan Titan or F150, but that won't be until summer and we're too far away from you.

Re: So milage doesnt effect the value of a WRX

I'm looking to find a WRX preferrably sedan, consider wagons as they present themselves, most definately 5spd...not too picky other than a 5spd. I dont want to buy new or lease cuz I want to pay cash and dont care for the whole payments idea.

...and BTW I live in NH

I think I knew that.

Definitely go with the 5-speed. The wagon has a lot of advantages, but the sedan is more agressive looking with it's fender flares. You can't put a sunroof in the wagon either, due to the roll-cage.

I would think that you wouldn't have any problems finding a used one in New England. Maybe once the snowy season is over.

The owner is a doctor. I guess I should have decided on medical school.

If we get to the point of selling, I'll let you know. We put it up for sale a little while ago, but had to reconsider. Things may change again.

I can't drive an automatic, I'd go insane. They are popping up more and more, prices seem to be coming down slightly since spring is coming so I'm hoping to find one before June.

I drove an '06 5spd today. Should not have done that Went to 2 different dealers trying to find a used one. One of the dealers had one but it was an auto so I didn't even look at it.

Yea I went to go get that one yesterday that was sold and they had another WRX sedan in that super sweeeeeeeeeet blue but it was an auto who the hell buys an automatic WRX

And all the 2.5 RS's I've found in the area are automatic and pretty much the within $1,000 of the cost of a WRX, think I'll spend the extra grand for a turbo

30K used? I haven't been watching the prices, but that seems a bit steep.
