Copper Mountain

I still prefer Breckenridge of those in the Summit County area but Copper Mountain gets

Unfortunately it was one of the busiest days they have had so lift lines were terrible. But the hill was excellant in all ways (I was on skis but it is board friendly)

Re: Copper Mountain

The thing I like about Copper Mountain is that it's much less crowded than Breckenridge.

Also the bowls at Copper are outstanding!

If I'm in Summit County however, I make it a point to ski Arapaho Basin!

Re: Copper Mountain

Glad you liked Copper. It was one of my favorites.

Re: Copper Mountain

Copper fan here also

I always stay in Breck, but like to hit Copper at least once. Can't really go wrong around the Summit County area.

Re: Copper Mountain

I used to spend every June in summit county
if there was late snow, board AB
horse pack camping
watching the snow melt & flood everything
biking Keystone, best prepped biking IMO
get tired of camping grab a bed & breakfast
finish it off watching the fireworks on the 4th, from Breck

haven't gone since '02, miss it
I should make it this year though

Yes but I am "working" so the room and airfare was just right for a single day (free). I wanted to do 2 days but am a bit off. Breathing the 5000ft air gets me but I was wheezing hard at 9K+ Saturday
