Maybe the truck just wanted him out. He belongs in a Volvo, clearly.

What it is with people who feel they need to explain things 6 ways to Sunday? You know what I mean? I mean how many different ways could one person explain was about to happen over and over? It is as if he was explaining to himself and to us in order to justify himself in a myriad of ways.

Re: Ridgeline airbags....

gad what an annoying accent, the Ridge needs to try harder next time.

I've done that with mine on snowy parking lots and its a PITA - the front is always pulling, so the bias of the AWD doesen't really permit that easy of a drift (even with vsa off) unless you're doing about 50+ (which in a vehicle that large and aptly damped is not recommended). He looks to be doing about 30 ish there, which makes me think he pulled some fuses...I'll have to check it in detail later when I get home and have a sec to watch it. First response is either gravel harmonics and pedal inputs/driver seating position = boom, or he fubar'd the electrical system.

Either way you slice it - that guy is annoying to listen to, myself or Chain could have explained that in about 90 seconds tops.

why put off today what you can wake up late and forget to do tomorrow.

Yeah, I ended up moving along the status bar 'til the video started...I think he was trying to be topgear and just ended up being a wind bag.

Re: Ridgeline airbags....

How do side bags deploy? Some sort of compressed air, or do they fire like fronts? I'm tempted to call bs on this... No smoke in the cab (hence the firing question). He seems awfully calm and collected considering the bags just fired. And even though he said you can see them fire "right... here" I didn't see a thing.
