A lesson in Pakistani

Let me correct you on this, Pakistan is actually in Asia and as far as the middle east is concerned DUBAI is the hottest place for bikers. Its actually the hub for bikes but is horribly expensive.

Re: Parts and accessories

Pakistan is down the Road from Israel, Iraq, Iran, ect. In that case I would say it's the Middle East.

My little brother just got back from Afghanistan a few months ago. He hated that place. He said that the sand was terrible.
He also stated that the exchange rate was bad on their part. He came home with a HUGE roll of Afgan money that he said was worthless. He was giving it out as gifts because it wasn't worth his time having it changed back over to US dollars. I've got 50, $50 Afgan bills. He said that the stack was worth only a few dollars. You would think a Country as rich as they are in oil would be better off than that.

As for calling anyone while here in the US - I doubt that will happen. Most of us here are from all over America. If I remember right you will be in California. Maybe one of the guys over there will be able to help you if you really need something.

Otherwise I'm sure you can and will find everything you need right here on the site. Do a search and more than likely the answer will show.

Enjoy your stay - be careful - and stay out of trouble.

Someone needs a good look at a map. Pakistan is not "down the road from" Israel or Iraq. Pakistan borders Inda and China, and a touch of Iran's far east border. It is very much in Asia.

Yes, I agree that it is in Asia, however - you yourself just pointed out that it touches Iran. All of these small Countries are within driving distance for the most part - maybe not in the "Down the Road" sense that I stated, but they are in close proximity.

I will surrender though. Pakistan may not be considered a part of the Mid East at all - although I've always A. S. S. U. M. E. D. it was.

Oh man....dude, you really ought to do a bit more reading on the subject before talking like this. (and a bit of tact goes a long way too) You're fullfilling several negative American stereotypes.

Utah is down the road from Georgia, the Carolinas, etc. In that case I'd say it's an east coast / southern state.

As for places in southern California to buy stuff, Hassy, there are a couple large retail stores. Something like Chapparral may be a good place to go check.

They're still on the same continent at least.

My apologies. I didn't want to to sound that way. I'm by no means predjudice against anyone. If that's the way I came across then I beg forgiveness.

I was just typing the random thoughts that came across my mind. If I remember right it was 1:00am in the morning so the brain might not have been functioning at 100%.

.

Great comment.

OK guys - I think you made you're point. I opened my mouth and inserted both feet. It happens to me sometimes.

I have been known to be an idiot. I guess this just happens to be one of those times.

Re: A lesson in Pakistani

I have been to Pakistan. The roads there are in bad shape. I would not want to ride a sportbike there. Alot of people are riding around on small bikes wearing flip flops and sandals and you see the donkey carts here and there, depending on where your at. The driving and traffic is something to get aquinted with. I have been to 4 different cities in Pakistan.Trust me you guys are not missing anything. All the vehicles there are righthand drive. They drive on the left side of the road.Right hand drive Suburban is pretty cool. Gas prices there are way higher than the US. Gas and diesel fuel is around $4.00 a gallon in Pakistan.

No disrespect Hassy. Move to America, it's a beter place.
