Wax on Wax off

Have any of you guys \ gals tried Meguires Tech Wax.? I purchased a bottle the other day and fell in love with the stuff.

I've always used their products, but normally I wax with Carnuba and not with a synthetic. I'm sold on the synthetics now.

What's your favorite polishes and wax products?

Re: Wax on Wax off

Here's a thread that talks about Meguiar's NXT. https://www.fireblades.org/forums/off...?highlight=wax
I've used it on several vehicles and have been pleased with how easily it goes on and off.

Re: Wax on Wax off

And I've been unpleased about how easily it falls off the car after application too. Wouldn't recommend it, especially since it's kinda expensive.

The 3 stage Meguiar's stuff is good though.

Re: Wax on Wax off

LTL, are you referring to NXT not lasting long?

I also like the Mother's 3 stage system and clay bar, other than it takes a long time to use it all (like waxing 3 times). But I guess there are no shortcuts to get it done right.

Re: Wax on Wax off

That's exactly what I'm referring to.

We put it on the S2000, and even my GF was bitching it didn't last long.

It goes on real easy, but out here in the sun, it doesn't last worth spit.

Re: Wax on Wax off

I too have fount that the NXT doesn't last as long as I would like, but man that stuff shines like no other. I used a three step proccess on the bike and love the way it looks. However in another 2 weeks I'll be adding another coat of wax.
