Re: College Tuition spikes

The graduate school I may be entering just raised their rates substantially, as many or most in this state. Small increases have always happened but it's starting to spike, it sucks.

Re: College Tuition spikes

That's not cool. How are people supposed to pay for an education when they can't afford it? Mom and dad. Sure, what if they couldn't afford it for themselves back then, and still can't afford it for their kids now It's a buncha crap. Most college professors don't even show up to class, they have their intern/assistant do it, and have the other intern/assistant grade the work.

That is what I'm saying. Chances are now that either mum or Dad doesn't have a job with the way the economy is right now.

People are too stupid to realize that. Cutting costs is good, price increases are not. Why not cut costs by getting rid of overpaid people that sit around and do crap? Why not cut down on spending unless it's absolutely necessary to buy something?

Hmmm, do ya think we'll see any 'human shields' volunteering for this mission? I doubt it.
