Good Exercise for lower abdominal?

OK so SheepUp '06 is going decent and I have lost a bit around the midsection resulting in better fitting leathers. The incline situps I have been doing (and other things) seems to have helped tone up my upper stomach but not as much the lower. Any suggestions on SIMPLE exercises to improve the lower? Needs to be simple as I find machines and situps fit my level of dedication better than free form stuff

He's already doing those, according to the original post.

Is a paradigm worth 20 cents?

Yep and it seems to have helped a bunch but mostly upper stomach area (maybe expand with time). The goal is to have enough room to add the foam backpad in while wearing my turtle shell for my leathers

Table push-aways! j/k! Have you tried an ab wheel? I think they work the lower abs pretty well, but they're a little hard to get used to.

Do you have an exercise ball--like those big yoga ball things? If so, I'll tell you a great one.

Re: Good Exercise for lower abdominal?

And flutter kicks (like you're swimming on your back). Keep feet between 3 and 12 inches from the floor. If your tailbone hurts, just place your hands together under your booty so your index fingers and thumbs create a triangle. For faster results, remember to keep your shoulders rolled forward so the stress is focused on your abs and not your lower back.
You should be able to start with 4 sets of 30 using a 4 count. (1, 2, 3, 4=1 1, 2, 3, 4,=2) Each set of 30 is really 120 kicks. If that's too easy just add reps or use ankle weights/fins.
Have fun!

But he doesn't have Tigerblade to be the second part of that exercise.

Yeah, that's a good one, too...

I got this one off of an episode of "Queer Eye" and it's one of the hardest ones I've done. I've used my Paint Skillz to illustrate. Assume a push-up position with a ball under your thighs. Slowly raise up your butt while rolling your legs along the ball, so that the ball ends up down by your feet. Slowly roll back down. This really isolates your lower abs. Be careful about who's around when you do this...
