How do you do it and still have peace.

How do you manage to spend a decent amount of time riding and still make your significant others happy? I am single and I am having problems with it (if that makes sense).

I don't spend that much time riding (track only), and when I do I:

a) make it good riding
b) Take the wife to the track w/ me.

Re: How do you do it and still have peace.

Simple she has "her time" and I have "my time" we spend it how we want. Obviously I spend my riding. It works out pretty good, however, you still have to "take care" of her either way. If she's not happy, I'm not riding, so some flowers can work miracles if you really want to ride that day. I think it's important to lay out some ground rules about riding. One for me is that the grass must be cut before I go out and ride, simple enough.

Uh yeah, that is an issue bicycle riding with my GF. It's also why I don't mind that she doesn't ride MC's even a little bit.

One of the ways we work it out on bicycles is riding together at the beginning, and then I tell her I'm going to go hammer for a while, and I'll meet back up with her to ride back home or to the truck.

My passenger footpegs were among the first things to come off my bike within minutes of getting it home from the dealer. Solo cowl followed within days. "It's a single seater, there's no room for a passenger, see?"

Well I dont think that will work...I cant tell her I will drop her on the side of the road while I go "hammer" for a while...she rides on the back.
