That's the right sentence IMO. That piece of **** doesn't deserve death.

And then there's this asshole...

Except my tax dollars will now be wasted on keeping this guy alive with extra security and better food than he's probably ever had instead of killing more of his cohorts in the sandbox.

In the US a death sentence takes decades and has more appeals mandatory. Therefore by not giving him the death sentence we will spend less, clog the courts less, and not give the peace of s**t his desire to be a martyr. Of course had he been try quickly and shot as a spy under the Geneva convention that would have been best.

Must obey the sheep dog

The problem is that he'll have a much better life at one of the Federal Country Clubs than he's ever had before (just like Noriega) and he'll be protected from any harm from other prisoners.

Exactly. Should've tried/convicted him in Texas.

Re: Mr. Moussaoui, meet your cellmate...

I can't think of any prison in the country where he'd make tomorrow's breakfast without incident. Either that or we spend more protecting his life in prison then we could on any legal defense for a stay of execution, or maybe we won't - budget executions are common for situations of gross public disgust.

why put off today what you can wake up late and forget to do tomorrow.

Re: Mr. Moussaoui, meet your cellmate...

I guarantee he is gonna get f*%#)d in prison and the killed. He is not gonna go to a cushy prison. It is not a federal white collar crime he committed. He'll be sharing cells with drug dealers and rapists or worse. I bet he'll be killed by someone on the inside before too long. I think his sentencing was perfect!

Re: Mr. Moussaoui, meet your cellmate...

It pisses me off to think that this Terrorist gets to live. He admitted to the desire and willingness to kill Americans. Then our Justice System though the eyes of sympathetic jurors send him to prison.

Did those in the Court Room not remember 9-11-2001 ???

I would have allowed him to die and be called a martyr. It wouldn't have hurt my feelings at all.

Will he last in prison? He had better pray to something that he doesn't even bump into someone in General Population.

I think thats just it, sort of like being kept alive in a coma...

Kind of ironic he has spent so much time on this earth with no value for human life, spending the rest of his isolated from every human, just enough sustinence to keep him around yet buried away from sunlight in a tomb of cement and steel, knowing that tomorrow you only have the same to look forward to - yep, I think the martyrdom thing was the easy way out. Now he will have a whole new appreciation for the time he has taken from others. Granted never a full realization, but plenty of time to think about it.

This is one of the few cases I can think it might even test some guards not to do the guy?

why put off today what you can wake up late and forget to do tomorrow.
