Land Rovers aren't just for Soccer Moms

Just to make it clear to any haters out there... While the new Land Rovers may be all comfy inside and be like riding a cloud on the tarmac, they can still hang off-road.... these are from Sunday out at Anza-Borrego State Park (Imperial Desert).

There was some water fording too... no pics of that though...

Re: Land Rovers aren't just for Soccer Moms

Yeah, that's all that was there... I was hoping for more, the place had been hyped up quite a bit.

The water crossings made up for it.

Thanks for showing the capabilities of the LR3, Navydevildoc. They sure are impressive (if rather too heavy) vehicles.

Kidding though, nice rig. I don't know much about them other than my parents call them "Yuppie Mobiles". I've never driven one.

They are good vehicles and ride real nice...just stay away from the Goodyear Wrangler Tires and it is a dream ride...

My Toyota pickup was doing that back in '95.

Re: Land Rovers aren't just for Soccer Moms

NDD (and smoothie), if you have time, can you post up anymore comments about Land Rovers that you might have? My wife wants one, but I've gotten mixed reviews from several people I've talked to about their reliability in the past, and I have no experience with them whatsoever.

Thanks,

Pete
