Ever have one of those weeks where nothing goes right?

I'm having one right now.

On top of every resident of Oklahoma trying to run me over this past week from every direction possible, last night sometime after midnight, my kickstand sunk into the pavement and my bike fell over breaking the left side mirror and cracking my tail fairing. Yes, it's the tail fairing I just replaced in April after my March lowside.

Every time this bike has gone down, it's been on its left side. So far I've broken 2 clutch levers, 1 clip on, two stock turn signals, one middle fairing, one tail fairing, and one stock footpeg all on the left side.

I decided at lunch today that I'm going to buy all right side pieces and mod them to fit on the left side. Maybe that will solve my problem.

You know what they say, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

or, in every cloud...... well, yeah, I guess your kickstand incident is pretty f'd up, especially just replacing that same tail section.

How much did that cost?

And if it was an original mirror, yeah, there goes $50.

Use a crushed can under your kickstand from now on, but I probably don't have to tell you that...

I knew the can deal but I never saw a bike sink into pavement overnight, they've always been at the later end of a long hot day. Caught me off guard.

I can't remember off hand what I paid for the tail. Got it off ebay for ~$100. The crack is miniscule and I'll just squeeze some plastic weld over it and sand it smooth. I hadn't yet gotten around to spray bombing it yet anyway so that's my silver lining on the tail section.

So really it's only a $50 bump in the road.

It's the build up of frustration over the last week that's driving me nuts.

One of them?

24yrs 51weeks exactly and counting....

So 24yrs = 52 * 24 = 1288 + 51 = 1,339 of them.

Re: Ever have one of those weeks where nothing goes right?

Sorry about your luck, but thanks for the info..I didn't know that there was a possibility that the kickstand would sink into the pavement! That's good info for future reference...

Life is funny sometimes.

I would love to have someone else's life, but when I start looking around I see that everyone else has problems as bad as, if not worse that what I have to deal with.

I was telling my son that today-

"A man with no shoes was feeling sorry for himself,

until he met a man with no feet."

I wish I only had a bad week. Since Christmas nothing has gone right for me. But I feel for ya man.
