Headphones while riding.

just got an ipod nano. i've been listening to my pervious mp3 player with sony headphones that wrapped around the ears but i found them to press heavily into the ear and hurt, plus the sound was poor and they couldn't take high volumes well and crackled.

old earphones.

anyone have any experience with good earphones that will take the high volumes of the nano's plus be able to fit in the ear and into the helmet. I'm looking into these earphones but the style of them may not allow me to fit them underneath the helmet

Re: Headphones while riding.

I use the Sony MDR-EX71 earphones. They work like earplugs when they aren't on, which is good. The only thing I don't like is that for some reason, my helmet, once on, deadens the sound. I'm not really sure how/why that is.

No this tire hunted Mary down! This tire murdered Mary!

Re: Headphones while riding.

Yeah, here they are in order of general goodness and cost:

#1 Etymotics

#2 Sony EX71 and E888

#3 Cheapy Koss

My advice is to save money and go straight to #1.

Re: Headphones while riding.

If you have the use for a chatterbox, buy one. All I use mine for these days is music.

Gotta love the chatterbox.

No matter how beautiful a woman may be, some man somewhere is sick of her sh!t.
