Which truck?

If you were to purchase a truck today, which would you choose: The Ford F150 or the Nissan Titan? I'm interested in good towing capacity.

Re: Which truck?

New Tundra coming out this fall...

Between those 2 I think I'd take the Titan.

And then there's this asshole...

Re: Which truck?

I did not like the F150's door post when I bought my GMC (kept smacking my head getting in). Also for towing capacity consider a 3/4 ton. Further I like my GMC (they are a bit better than a Chevy and the dealers are not high pressure scum)

Here is a white one with 10000lb towing

Ridgeline then Titan, then F150.

why put off today what you can wake up late and forget to do tomorrow.

Re: Which truck?

If you want Towing go with a 3/4 as was already said. I really like my F250 diesel. It handles my Fathers Construction Trailer Very well (8ft by 18ft plus a V Nose) The Electronic Brakes are also nice if you have large loads

Re: Which truck?

If you plan on doing some towing, I'd strongly urge you to check out the new diesel trucks. The new D-max with the 6 speed is getting over 20 unloaded, and doing very well loaded.

Re: Which truck?

I would not choose the Titan. I read on consumer reports that it had the worst record on the Nissan line up.
I hope you can read this link:

Re: Which truck?

Well it wasn't an option, but if you need this for towing I'd say go diesels. Like the look of the SD's , don't really dig into much else as I haven't needed one myself

F150. I had a GMC before this and I'm much more happy with the F150.

Re: Which truck?

Titan sucks on gas... Baby Boy is on the way so I made a decision myself on replacing my 03 Access Cab Tundra T3 for either 06 Double Cab Tundra or an 06 Dble Cab Titan....I've owned Toyotas all my life and loved them..

Anyways, 3 days ago I've bought an 2006 Darrell Waltrip Special Edition Blue Color Double Cab Tundra... The back is a lot roomier than Titan..I'll get a much better gas mileage also... Love it big time..
Fits in my Garage too...now is time for an Blue CBR... j/k still love my 954..

Its up to you of what better suits you...Just test drive them and take your time....

Re: Which truck?

Thanks for the suggestions. It's a daily driver so I really don't want something all that huge or a diesel. I'll tell the story when I'm back from my trip.....
The total wt. of the trailer I pull is maybe 5k-6k lbs at most.
