The reason I use an OEM filter (K&N info / Duramax info herein)

Some decent info here on the use of a K&N / KN / whatever ya call it filter on a Duramax diesel.

ISO 5011 Duramax Air Filter Test Report

why put off today what you can wake up late and forget to do tomorrow.

Thanks for the link.
1. There is definitely a trade-off with flow vs. filtering. Not too unexpected.
2. AC/Delco makes some good products. They get slammed because of the bias against GM. I have seen other product tests where AC/Delco does very well.

Honda oem! Yea you have to replace it every 15 k or so, but who the hell wants to deal with buying the K&n cleaning kit (and cleaning it). Posibly clogging an injector or carb with K&N oil.

Aliens general, everything about them is alien!
