Nope, sometime bee keeper and observer of all things that venture onto my land . . .

Honey bees will lose bigtime to hornets, although there are several spiders and ants that can bitch slap those hornets into next week. It's just not the usual thing, as we have several varieties of wasps and hornets (including at least half a dozen varieties of the "giant") living within 30 feet of 20 or so major beehives in my back field. They have peacefully coexisted for over 20 years.

My Purple Martins seem to like both the hornets and the bees, so it's just a food chain and not Nightmare on Elm Street part 23 as depicted in this obviously BS film.
