2007 911 Turbo.... not bad for 130K

Here's an interesting article about the newest version of the Porsche 911 Turbo.

Preview: 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo - MSN Autos

I guess I'd take one if you gave it to me.

If I had the option of doing it, I'd wait until 08. There is a bunch of new technology on that car...

My wife's brother has the 2006 model right now. (I still haven't been down there to see it in person.)

I always thought that guys who drive those cars are trying compensate for other shortcomings.

I'm sure that's the case in some instances, but why would you make such a broad generalization to include all such owners?

Well, when I buy my Ferrari or Turbo Porsche, we'll get them out and compare.

I think anyone that buys an expensive sports car is compensating for a small penis.
Yeah, for sure.
I also don't think that anyone that makes this claim is compensating for their jealousy. Not at all.

I was trying to go there, but in a more subtle way.

Re: 2007 911 Turbo.... not bad for 130K

I think the rich old snobs that buy one to have one and drive it 5 mph below the speed limit on Sunday when it's 0% chance of rain and between 70-75 degrees are compensating for something. There are true "car guys" or I should say "car people" that get them for the same reason we get sport bikes.... it's the wildest ride around.

I believe riding, like life, is 10% what happens and 90% how you react.
