Re: EBAY revenge!

58 transactions and 100% positive feedback seller. That sure is comforting.

Way to screw em!

Re: EBAY revenge!

Does ebay do anything when something like that occurs, especially with a business involved??

Same thing happened to a friend of ours. Someone stole pictures of his ZX12 and was trying to sell it on ebay.

Re: EBAY revenge!

In case it gets pulled... his EBAY ID is happy days for me
and since he was stupid enough to link his photos from our server...we inserted the following:

Alex, it has been reported to EBAY and will hopefully be pulled shortly. This is actually the second person we've caught trying to sell this particular bike.

I've sometimes 'borrowed' pics of stuff, especially if the pics were very good, or better than I could've taken of an identical item. Just being lazy s'all

Hmm, so what came first, the chicken or the egg?

Just messing with you NH I'd be irked too, because he's using your hosting, your pics, your description, the pics are traceable to you, etc. I would've done the same or worse, if the seller didn't respond appropriately to requests of either taking the auction down, or compensation.

Re: EBAY revenge!

Hey, the longer it remains on eBay, the better! More publicity for your business, and more bad exposure for this jerk-off

The bike exists....at our shop....it's a scam.

Here is the old (completed) auction:
OURS

Look at the VIN's...look at the description of the tires.

Re: EBAY revenge!

Last year i bid and won an auction on a 00 929. When i contacted the guy to arrange payment, he said to wire transfer the money. I told him i would pay him with a bank draft when i pick the bike up (3hours away from me). He said his bank told him a bank draft wasn't guaranteed money?(is where i come from) Anyway i said i would pay him cash, this whole time i asked for a V.I.N. which he would never supply and he never used his real name. He said he was going to be moving on the weekend, so i told him i could pick it up on that friday, needless to say i never heard from him again. The guy must of thought i was an idiot, to think i would send him $5300U.S. when he would not give me the V.I.N. and he never once used his real name.

I would give my right arm, to be ambidextrous!

Re: EBAY revenge!

In Canada, I would place money that the bike was a less than 2 week old insurance job. Go up to Shannonville sometime and take a look at a few VINs in the paddock. They are either taped over, beat to crap or have been altered with a punch and hammer.

It just amazes me that the insurance companies even mess with sport bikes up there . . .
