Carbon Emissions Mitigation

I know not everybody is concerned about the environment or carbon emissions, so if not stop reading now.

I am not trying to spark a debate about whether global warming is real or not, merely passing on a way to help for those that CAN and WANT to do something to help.

Many of us have lives and lifestyles that cannot avoid contributing to carbon emissions. These organizations provide several options to donate money to projects and research that off-set our own personal carbon emissions that we are otherwise unable to eliminate.

TerraPass is for profit, while CarbonFund is non-profit.

Both organizations are audited by outside parties to ensure that the money goes to where it says it does.

TerraPass | Prevent global warming, reduce carbon dioxide pollution, promote alternative energy

Re: Carbon Emissions Mitigation

This is the last thing they are concerned with on this site. The summary was that they think global warming is bullshit. Ignorance is bliss.

22 days until it begins...

Re: Carbon Emissions Mitigation

My property is a hedge fund on the environment. If the polar ice caps melt, I have ocean front property here in Kansas City that's going for top dollar.

A few hundred acres on a mountain top will become a secluded island
