Re: Geocaching

Everyone we've talked to recommends Garman (sp?). Do you guys concur?

Re: Geocaching

Garmin products usually have more features and overall are better, but for a small handheld the Magellan SporTrack Pro is the best available.
It is the most accurate handheld out there, and the features are pretty much the same as the high end Garmin eTrex units.

Re: Geocaching

The Sun Tech I had to work with early this AM had a palm type GPS, very slim, same size as a palm. *I dunno about features or anything else, but it was stealth.

Edit, I think it was this one.

They make GPS attachments for most newer palm's. I know they make one for my iPaq.

Re: Geocaching

I am a happy Garmin e-trex owner, and use the Mapsource software along with the GPS.

I have done about a dozen geocaches...they are fun outings with the wife and kids.
