Re: For Sale: 05' RC 51 $8,900.00 OBO less than 5400 miles

what year model is your truck? I have an extra trans that came out of a 95 dodge ram 1500 with the 360 engine in it. Automatic, 2 wheel drive.

Re: For Sale: 05' RC 51 $8,900.00 OBO less than 5400 miles

I travel a lot and its hard to try and convince them that the truck is stock... lol, have ats twin aurora turbo setup- manifold, banks intercooler, banks ram air. 5" mbrp exhaust, nitrous which equates to about 550 hp and about 1100 ftlbs of tq at the wheel so it makes it a bit difficult.. i have to replace it with an ats billet transmission.. I appreciate your help.. Thanks.

seems like if you were "friendly" with the dealership you would be able to work it out where you pay the difference for the beefed up version.

i have a 03 6.0 powerstroke, i am about as far as i can comfortably go without puttin the head bolt in danger of poping. i know a guy that spays his regularly and has no problem, but his is newer and still under warranty. i have the mbrp exhaust, k&n intake, sct tuner custom tuned, acufab intake elbow and a egr block off plate that i am dreading putting in

I am going to have to see what i can work out.. they seem like it's coming out of their pockets.. this is why this part of the region is sooo far behind.. how is that 6.0 working for you? i was thinking that as soon as i get the truck back i might get a new ford.. but.. can't beat the space these megacabs have!!

Re: For Sale: 05' RC 51 $8,900.00 OBO less than 5400 miles

i love it. i had the 97 f350 with the 7.3 and had some tranny leakage issues. my dad has the 03 excursion with the 7.3 the newer version and i used it to pull my trailer, after that my 97 went away from me and i got a good deal on the 6.0. i have 115k on it and it had 90 something thousand on it when i bought it. i had a warranty report pulled and it was minor issues with it, so so far i am very happy with the way it pulls and the room it has. my dad bought a 03 6.0 in 03 when they first came out and it was a total lemon, that is how he got the one with the 7.3. the 04, 05 and up seem to be solid. the tranny is nice with the tow haul mode on it. dodge seems to be easier to get more power out of and that mega cab is nice, but are known for the tranny issues. i went camping the other weekend and i would say that 90% of the trucks in the campground were fords, had a couple chevys and dodges scattered about.

Fords are built more solid for sure.. just that they are way out of my league.. I have expensive tastes you know? LOL $60k something for what i want.. so i am going to have to do with this truck.. i am almost out of the loan as soon as i am i am going to get me a ford.. seems the new setup is going to make it king of the road.. I never liked Chevy's.. they might have more power.. just durability issues.. choices... choices..

you know the chevys use izuzu engines in their diesels right. i bought mine used. they claim the 6.4 will be the towing monster. i am not a fan of the new front ends on the fords. i went to fords website a while back and built a truck and stoped once i got up around 60K and started browsing my usual sites
