Re: How many here actually ride a blade?

Seems alot of folks here have jumped ship to ride V-twins. What's up with that?

Another great site to visit.

Re: How many here actually ride a blade?

Since the RC *is MUCH slower than the 954 , i'm guessing they are thinking *of it from a safety perspective, less speed, less chance of crash. * * *

I ride a 929. But to satisfy the urge to ride a twin, I have a '95 Ducati.

Re: How many here actually ride a blade?

I used to have a '96 900RR before the RC51. Couldn't bring myself to leave the Fireblades.org family so I've stuck around.

Re: How many here actually ride a blade?

I love my 'blade - hard to imagine that anything could be much better, but I would love to own a twin as well. I love the way they sound, and the exotica factor of a Duc or Priller is appealing as well. But at the point in time I bought my 954 (February '03), it was hard to think of spending more money for less horsepower and more weight.

Re: How many here actually ride a blade?

929 here.

We've tried to run off some of this RC51 riff-raff, but they just won't go away.
