Hi everyone
I have finally set up my home page full of pics
of my stupidity so those of you who would like a look

No kidding. There are easier ways to disassemble the forks...

How fast were you going? Wasn't very fast if I remember correctly

That's what I thought! Nothing like snapping the fork legs clean off!

It was a gorgeous bike. Good luck rebuilding/replacing, and I'm glad to think you're okay.

Yes I am almost completly recovered,only have a
slightly sore shoulder that I'm having phsyio for.
bike hit pole at about 30kph roughly but straight on
plastic and suff went everywhere!
only thing left of the instrument cluster is half the taco.
One good thing is that being a motor mech by trade saves
me cost in labour.
parts at trade but still not that cheap

Well Bacchus I want to rebuild and keep but 3 months on
and wife not so IMPRESSED with this train of thought
still a few months from finnishing so ya never know!

It was not a hi-speed crash but it stoped dead in its tracks
absolutly no give in poles!
