Re: What do you think...

We have built a new auction template and I was just wondering what your opinions were. I know a lot of you browse thru EBAY so any comments are welcome.

The NEW one

The OLD one.

Re: What do you think...

Hmm... too much green; the older version is more friendly to my eyes. I like that the details don't have to be scrolled through, but the font needs to be bigger; it's not like more space costs more money (or even bandwidth). The detail description should be more consistent and/or use icons (like 5 stars, letter grades, etc); 'excellent' vs. 'OK' vs. 'NO' is slightly unclear. Some framing of the thumbnails would be nice. Overall fonts should be bigger; they're either hard to read or give the stigmatic impression of lots of 'fine print'.

Re: What do you think...

I think the reason the font is so small is due to the fact that we did not want a really long auction page.
The green banners are kinda our colors. I kinda like em, personally.

Good input though, thanks.

Re: R1-boy. Yeah, What can ya do? He never even bothered contacting us to see if we could help him out....plus it's our fault he doesn't know his own State's laws regarding motor vehicles.
I will say I didn't know anything about the 'rat's nest' issue as we don't pull every bike apart...especially if they run fine, which that one was.

The banner's cool, it's the other stuff that's too much IMHO. Maybe the, uhh, odd-colored Wing over-accented it

Figures that the R1 would run better on rat pellets

Re: What do you think...

hehe yeah that wing is pretty funky colored. We've actually fixed the links so that they are normal colored and not affected by our auction code. See?
