Re: Slo-mo stunt

Wow! That #### never ceases to amaze me. Balance like I could never even hope to have. And he was performing in a safe area, and was at least protecting his melon. The only downside to that vid was the nauseating music

The camera moves too much...it makes it look like the guy is going faster than he really is.

Squidly or not, that's impressive. At least he's doing that in a parking lot. Although, how would you do that on the street?

Re: Slo-mo stunt

Isn't it kinda strange to have a song that says 'living it up in the fast lane.' He is doing slow speeds stunts.

Re: Slo-mo stunt

Sorry to be the spoil sport....but with that gearing, balance is not that hard....

I've ridden quads and dirts with low gearing like that, and balance stunts are easy. You can literally ride on the back wheel(s) until you get tired of it....

Re: Slo-mo stunt

Alright Baketech, I'm gonna take you up on your offer. Doing that stuff IS NOT THAT EASY! Yes, gearing the bike helps alot by helping you stay in the power range and airing down the tire gives you a better contact patch. But pay attention to that vid. Not only is he rocking circles, he's also doing no throttle hand circles. He's also doing no-hander wheelies working strictly off the balance point. That level of skill takes months and hours of practicing, usually just to learn one trick and make it smooth and have it down pat.
Wheelies are one thing, but have you ever tried circles? Try it and tell me if it's easy.
Not trying to flame ya too bad here.

BTW- Quads don't count for stunting- it doesn't take hardly any skill to wheelie a 4-wheeler.
